UV噴墨印刷應用於模內轉印前後色彩品質特性之研究

A Study on Color Quality Attributes of IMR between PET and ABS by UV Inkjet

摘要


模內轉印(In-Mold Roller)能在不規則物體表面印刷出極佳的質感與效果,許多產品外殼在經過立體轉印彩裝後不褪色、防水,達到保護、美化、宣傳的功能,使產品整體質感提高,創造更高經濟價值;然而目前的市場趨勢傾向開發個性化,因此本研究以噴墨印刷不需製版、節省製程成本、圖文影像精細又能創造個性化塗裝效果等特點,將噴墨印刷結合模內轉印技術,開拓市場,探討以噴墨印刷的三種變數(覆蓋率、噴印次數、解析度)印製PET轉印薄膜後,模內轉印至射出成型ABS版上,探究其轉印前後色彩品質特性(滿版濃度、網點面積、階調擴增、印刷對比、色差與色域)之差異,透過嚴謹的實驗並量化綜合分析,歸納出最適合的噴墨印刷方式以及轉印後最佳品質特性組合。經研究分析顯示:UV噴墨列印至PET膜再轉至ABS其滿版濃度會降低;在網點面積方面,各組不同噴墨條件轉印前後,在各色調間均有些微差異變化;在階調擴增方面,轉印後各色版階調擴增值均明顯高於轉印前;在各種組合噴墨列印中,經與原稿來進行色差比較分析顯示,轉印前與轉印後色差變化頗大;由色域圖顯示,在經轉印後其色域會縮小;在各種組合噴墨列印中,印刷對比值各組合在C、K版表現較佳,在M、Y色版則較低,在轉印之後,各種組合普遍對比升高。

In-Mold Roller (IMR) is a revolutionary printing process by which objects are 3-D decorated. The products decorated by In-Mold Roller are protected from water and fading. What's more, these kinds of decorations strongly increase the beauty, desirability and value of the objects. Therefore, this research is to investigate the potential use of combining In Mold Roller with UV inkjet printing in 3D decoration. The variables are types of UV inkjet, then transfer printed to the substrates. Additionally, this study is expected to develop personalized printing service, broaden the usage of UV inkjet printing and In Mold Roller technology. The study analysis we found: UV inkjet printing to the PET film and then transfer to the ABS, the SID will decrease. In dot area, different types of each combination between PET and ABS have some changes, especially in black color. After transferred, the TVI will apparently higher than before. In each combination by UV inkjet, the color difference between PET and ABS have changes. After transferred, the color gamut will be smaller than before. In each combination by UV inkjet, the PC value of C and K are better, and the M and Y are lower. After transferred, the PC value of each combination become higher and the value are higher than the offset standard.
