Secondary occlusal trauma, caused by severe periodontal destruction, usually made periodonto-prosthetic treatment complicated. Splinting is often indicated for evaluating the prosthesis and some times is also a permanent treatment. This case described the use of a modified Maryland bridge to stabilized mobile lower anteriors and in combination with a Class I removable partial prosthesis. The mobility of the splinted teeth had subsided. And the patient was satisfied with his chewing function.
