摘要


本文主要研究一種高效能、低價位之突發式光收發信模組,應用在被動光網路之光收發組件。在點對多點之間的傳輸中,由於只在傳送封包時,光收發信模組才發出雷射光,故可解決通道間訊號互相干擾的問題,大幅提昇省電效率,可即時處理入射光功率振幅相差甚大的不同封包。

This paper is to design and implement high efficient burst-mode optical transceiver modules used in the passive optical networks. The laser of the module will only switch into the ”ON” state hen the signals of network packets must be transmitted. Such a scheme can solve the cross-talk problem between neighboring channels and greatly decrease the consumption of electrical power. Another advantage of this module is the capability to process different signal power levels in optical packets.
