Microsize Light Emitting Diode (μ-LED)

摘要


微發光二極體(microsize LED, μ-LED)之所以引起研究人員與工業界的廣泛興趣原因不外是,可具有高發光效率、趨近成熟的LED製程技術;可應用於微顯示器、陣列式短距離光纖傳輸、短距離自由空間傳輸,以及醫學(眼內視力輔助,Intraocular Vision Aid, IOVA)的潛力等等。

Microsize LED (μ-LED) have attracted substantial interest because of their potential for use in inexpensive optical links, in micro-displays and in Intraocular Vision Aid (IOVA), as well as for their high quantum efficiency and nearly mature fabrication processes.
