鬼針屬雜草新生物型－屏東小白花鬼針草
New Biotype of Bidens spp.-Bidens pilosa var. Minor, Pingtung

Bidens plants (Asteraceae) are worldwide weeds and expand extensively all over the world. The most familiar Biden species in Taiwan is Bidens pilosa var. radiate, and then the other two are B. pilosa var. minor and B. pilosa var. pilosa. New biotype B. pilosa var. minor, Pingtung, collected from Pingtung, Taiwan after investigation for more than three years, is confirmed as a natural variant derived from B. pilosa var. minor. This new biotype has uneven white color on leaf surface which might increase its decoration value.
