溪頭竹類標本園內之藻斑特性與種類調查

Investigation of Algal Spots on Bamboos in the Xitou Bamboo Arboretum

摘要


本研究自2020年7月至2021年3月期間,於國立臺灣大學生物資源暨農學院實驗林管理處溪頭自然教育園區竹類標本園,進行藻斑種類與寄主調查。透過解剖顯微鏡、光學顯微鏡(LM)及電子顯微鏡(SEM)觀察,得知園内兩種藻類斑嚴重影響竹類生長,主要為葉楯藻屬(Phycopeltis sp.),為此區之優勢種,該類藻斑可發現於38個分類群(包含種、變種及栽培種)之竹葉或莖稈表面;另一種則為由Cephaleuros virescens Kunze ex E.M. Fries引起之藻斑,可危害南美刺竹(Guadua angustifolia Kunth)與大明竹(Pleioblastus gramineus(Bean)Nakai),這兩種竹類皆為該藻類於臺灣之新紀錄寄主,而與已知竹類寄主累計共4種。本研究統計由C. virescens引起之藻斑病於臺灣的寄主植物共267種、2亞種及25變種。

This study surveyed the host range of algae on bamboo at the Bamboo Arboretum in the Xitou Nature Education Area of the National Taiwan University Experimental Forest from July 2020 to March 2021. By dissecting microscope, light microscope (LM), and scanning electron microscope (SEM), two major algae, Phycopeltis sp. and Cephaleuros virescens Kunze ex E. M. Fries, were identified to influence the growth of bamboos seriously. In particular, Phycopeltis sp. was found to be the dominant species in this area that happened to leave algal spots on the surface of leaves or stems found in 38 taxa (including species, variety, and cultivated species). The other algae species, C. virescens, was found to form spots on the leaves of Guadua angustifolia Kunth and Pleioblastus gramineus (Bean) Nakai, which were reported as two new hosts of bamboo species in Taiwan. In total, C. virescens was found to cause algal spots on four species of bamboos in Taiwan. According to the results of this study, the host range of C. virescens in Taiwan has reached 267 species, 2 subspecies, and 25 varieties.
