One-Dimensional Interacting Bose Gas in an Infinite Potential Well

We analyze the properties of one-dimensional interacting bosons in an infinite potential well. Bethe ansatz, which facilitates the previous studies using periodic boundary conditions, can not be used since the total momentum is no longer a good quantum number. We employ a different approach, and show our results to be identical to theirs only in the thermodynamic limit.
