不同區域和季節對行道樹葉片不溶性滯塵量之影響

THE INFLUENCE OF LOCATION AND SEASONS ON THE INSOLUBLE DUST RETENTION OF STREET TREES' LEAVES

摘要


樹木因其特殊的葉表形態、結構及自身的潤濕性,可以有效攔阻、吸收和固定大氣粒狀污染物,同時對重金屬污染物具有吸附、吸收等功能,故都巿林木對空氣懸浮微粒及其攜帶的重金屬污染防治具有重要意義,是改善都巿環境品質的有效手段。本研究主要在比較臺灣4種常見行道樹在台北巿和嘉義巿之葉片不溶性滯塵量及其成分重金屬之差異,研究結果顯示,在雨量多且降雨頻繁的台北巿,以茄苳的單位葉面積滯塵量最大,在雨量少、乾季長的嘉義巿則以榕樹的滯塵能力較佳,不溶性滯塵的重金屬含量亦以茄苳和榕樹分別在台北巿和嘉義市為最多。此外,大部份的樹種(包括茄苳、榕樹和樟樹)在台北巿和冬季有最大的單位葉面積滯塵量。本研究可供環保公園綠化樹種或行道樹選擇之參考,並需考量適地適木、植栽配置和撫育管理,才能發揮淨化空氣污染物之效益。

Trees can effectively block, absorb, and fix atmospheric particulate pollutants due to their special leaf morphology, structure, and their own wettability. At the same time, trees can adsorb and absorb heavy metal pollutants. Urban trees can prevent the pollution of airborne particles and the associated heavy metals, which is an effective way to improve the quality of urban environment. This study was mainly to compare the insoluble dust retention and its composition of heavy metals on leaves of four common street trees in Taipei City and Chiayi City. The results showed that Bischofia javanica had the highest dust retention per unit leaf area of in Taipei City where rainfall was frequent and heavy. Whereas Ficus microcarpa had the highest dust retention per unit leaf area of in Chiayi City where weather was semiarid with long dry season. Regarding the contents of heavy metals in insoluble dust on leaves, Bischofia javanica in Taipei City and Ficus microcarpa in Chiayi City had the highest heavy metal adsorbtion capability. In addition, Bischofia javanica, Ficus microcarpa, and Cinnamomum camphora had high dust retention per unit leaf area in Taipei City and during winter season. These results can be used as a reference for the selection of greening tree species in parks or streets. In order to maximize the effectiveness of air pollution removal, we should also consider the suitable trees, planting configuration and breeding management.
