「無用之用」與「至人無己」--以《莊子.逍遙遊》為中心

摘要


《莊子.逍遙遊》以大瓠與大樹兩個寓言,闡發的是至人無己。而對「至人無己」的理解又是通過「無用之用」的引入而達成的。對於有用與無用的區分本身遮蔽了無用本身也是一種用,甚至無用是有用得以可能的條件;無用的大用在於使使用者與被使用對象互不相傷、兩盡其性;而抵達無用之用的根本方式在於「去主體化」意義上的「無己」,只有無己之人才能達到真正的逍遙。

The concealed futility by the distinction between "utility" and "futility" is actually a kind of "utility", or even great serviceability, which is realized by mutual non-injury between the user and the substance to be used and display thorough performance of the two. The fundamental method for turning the "futility" into "utility" lies in "detachment" based on "de-subjectivation". Only by means of "detachment" can one reach the realm of leisure.
