A Design of Multi-Functional Mouse Wheel and an Assessment of User Acceptance

多功能滑鼠滾輪的設計與使用者接受度評估

摘要


在軟體設計的趨勢下,滑鼠滾輪的需求將日益增加。在此前提下,單滾輪可能不敷使用。本研究主要目的係在設計一新的滑鼠,亦即多功能滑鼠滾輪。藉此設計,單一滑鼠滾輪將可作爲複數個滾輪使用,以進一步擴展滑鼠滾輪的應用層面,並提升軟體的操作效率。此外,該研究亦以科技接受模式觀點爲基礎,針對使用者對多功能滑鼠滾輪的接受度進行評估。實證結果指出使用者對多功能滑鼠滾輪的有用性與易用性認知皆有一定程度的認同,同時其有用性認知與易用性認知對於使用態度,以及使用意圖皆有正向顯著影響。

Under the trend of software design, the demand of mouse wheel use will increase. In such situation, a single mouse wheel may be insufficient in the future. The primary goal of this research is to implement a new mouse wheel design multi-functional mouse wheel. Through this design, a single mouse wheel can turn into virtually multiple mouse wheels to extend the application of mouse wheel and to enhance the efficiency of software operation. Besides, this research also examined the user acceptance of ”multi-functional mouse wheel” based on a technology acceptance model (TAM). The empirical results indicated that users are approve of perceived usefulness and ease of use of multi-functional mouse wheel, and the perception had a positive influence on the user attitude, therefore to affect user intension.
