許天奎《鐵峰詩話》述論

許天奎《鐵峰詩話》，以評騭日治時代台灣著名詩人為主要內容，兼及三位大陸宦遊人士及－日本人。選詩話詩，採摭精嚴；發底蘊，掘潛情，論析鞭辟入裡。書中標舉「貴真性情」，高倡「關懷家國」；揭櫫詩歌之道，指出創作規律，既循風雅傳統，兼具創新獨到。月旦人物，品評詩篇，皆言簡意賅，別具隻眼，而指涉之範疇，時間聯繫古今，空間涵蓋台灣全島，允為日治時期一部重要的「台灣詩話」。本文旨在透過考查版本流衍，掌握全書梗概，耙梳作者採摭、品評詩人詩作之標準；次則論及詩學主張，探討其實質批評之趨向與內涵，統整歸納特色，進而彰顯其時代意義與價值。

The content of Hsu, Tien-kuei's italics mainly comments on the famous poets in Taiwan during the Japanese ruling time, including three officers transferred from mainland China and one Japanese. Whether choosing or criticizing poems, he collects them with preciseness. It not only shows his proficiency and accuracy in commenting on poetry, but also reflects the hidden meanings in these poems. In this book, he advocates the preciousness of individuality and demands more concern about our own country. At the same time, he reveals the method of composing poetry, and points out the rules of creation as well. His works both follow the elegant traditions and possess unique creativity. On commenting on poets and poems, he always uses concise and pithy words to describe his special ideas. When it comes to the range of his collection, it encompasses ancient periods and modern times all over Taiwan. Thus it can be referred to as an important ”Commentary on Poetry in Taiwan” in Japanese ruling time. This paper firstly aims to investigate the context of editions, to grasp the key points of the book, put the author's collection in order, and judge the standard of the poets' works. Secondly, it shows the important meanings and values of this book in its age, through treating the ideas of the art of poetry, discussing the exact trend and content of criticism, as well as generalizing the striking features.
