A Benchmark-based Hybrid Evaluation Methodology for Selecting the Best Design Chain Partners

標竿爲基礎之混合式評估方法論以挑選最佳設計鏈夥伴

摘要


爲了讓新產品能夠成功地及時上市,設計鏈夥伴的評估與選擇變成爲一項關鍵性議題。因產品生命週期戲劇性地縮短與產品複雜性顯著地增加,因此公司必須善用夥伴的核心能力在短時間內開發新產品。爲了協助公司尋找最佳的設計鏈夥伴,所以本研究建立設計鏈候選者之評選準則架構,並發展標竿爲基之混合式評估方法論,以挑選最佳的設計鏈夥伴。首先,本研究運用資料包絡分析法,建立設計鏈候選者的初步評選模式,以辨識有效率的設計鏈夥伴。然後,藉由運用TOPSIS與AHP發展設計鏈夥伴的優勢排序方法,以找出最佳設計鏈夥伴成員。再者,本研究運用寬鬆變數分析,提供無效率的設計鏈候選者之具體的績效改善建議。

In order to deliver new products successfully and timely, the evaluation and the selection of design chain partners becomes a crucial issue. With the shortening of product lifecycles dramatically and the increasing of product complexity significantly, companies must develop new products by employing the core technologies of partners within a short period. To assist companies in searching for optimum design chain partners, this research establishes a hierarchical structure of criteria for evaluating the performance of design chain candidates and develops a benchmark-based hybrid evaluation methodology for design chain partners. Firstly, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is employed to establish a preliminary evaluation model of design chain candidates and identify efficient design chain partners. By combining the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), this research creates a priority ranking approach of design chain partners to determine the optimum partner. Moreover, this research uses the slack variable analysis to acquire concrete improvement suggestions for ameliorating the performance of inefficient design chain candidates.
