桿弟這一行:高爾夫球桿弟研究現況與展望

The job of golf caddies: Literature review and future perspective of golf caddies

摘要


高爾夫球桿弟是高球場中第一線的服務工作者,過去雖有諸多高爾夫球相關研究議題的進行,然而,球場中扮演重要角色的前線服務人員桿弟,卻鮮少受到研究人員的關注。因此,本研究主要經由文獻探討,針對高爾夫桿弟歷史緣起與職務內容進行說明,並針對高爾夫桿弟相關研究進行文獻回顧,進而嘗試提出當前桿弟研究主軸及其研究缺口。研究結果顯示,有關桿弟與球友關係、桿弟與球場服務品質、桿弟薪資與工作壓力等研究主題,目前多停留於論述性研究亦或是媒體報導等型態,未來仍需實證性研究的實際執行,方能對該些議題有更深入之探討,此外,在研究方法的運用上,未來亦可針對研究主題的設定選取合宜的研究方法,以突破現有研究的缺口,提升高爾夫球相關研究議題的多樣化,進而提供日後高爾夫球場實務管理參酌。

The caddies are the frontline workers in golf courses. A lot of studies about golf are going on, but caddies, play important roles in golf courses, get few attentions from researchers. Accordingly, through the literature review, the purpose of this study was to describe the origin of caddies, interpret the functions and job description of caddies, and characterize the research gaps in golf caddies to better understand future research ideas. The results suggested that the research topics on relationships of caddies with playing partner, caddies and quality of service in golf courses, and the caddies' salary and pressure of work are the discourse research or news from media. In the future, it makes a further discussion to still keep going on empirical research to fulfill the research gaps. In addition, on the using of research methods, choosing the suitable one for the setting of research topics in the future would break through the gap on the present study to enrich diversity research domains in golf, and offer some reference for the management of golf course.
