本研究旨在探討島嶼居民對文化認同、社區意識、行為意圖及保育行為之關係,以及琉球嶼居民對生態保育與社區永續經營之認知。採量化研究,量化研究樣本蒐集從2017年4月17日至18日針對小琉球長住居民進行調查。共計回收有效問卷132份。利用LISREL 8.70進行結構方程模式分析。的實證研究,以最大概似估計法對本研究模式中各組變項因果關係進行估計。實證研究結果顯示,居民文化認同顯著及正向的直接影響居民行為意圖,顯著及正向的間接影響居民保育行為;居民社區意識顯著的及正向的直接影響居民行為意圖,顯著及正向的間接影響居民保育行為;居民行為意圖顯著的及正向的間接影響居民保育行為。本研究發現琉球嶼居民職業多以觀光相關產業居多,並深知環境資源保育行為之重要性,而有效規序與傳達保育訊息與觀念是非常迫切重要的事情。因此本研究依據研究發現提出相關具體建議。
This study is quantitative research exploring the relation among island residents' cultural identity, community consciousness, behavioral intention, and conservation behavior. In particular, it provides a discussion on the awareness of the residents of Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, on ecological conservation and sustainable community management. A total of 132 questionnaires yielding the same number of valid collected samples were distributed to the local long-term residents of the island for the period of April 17-18, 2017. The collected data were statistically analyzed and verified using SPSS 20.0, for determining the basic data distribution, participation characteristics, and other specific feelings of the subjects. An empirical study of The LISREL 8.70, a structural equation modeling approach, was employed for the data analysis. Results revealed the following: the residents' local identity has a significant and positive direct impact on their behavioral intentions and significant indirect impact on their conservation behaviors; the residents' community awareness has significant and positive impact on their behavior intentions and indirect impact on their conservation behavior; and the residents' behavioral intentions have significant and positive indirect effects on conservation behavior.
