紐西蘭開放式幼稚園之課程與教學的個案研究

A Case Study on the Curriculum and Instruction in an Open Kindergarten in New Zealand

摘要


本研究的主要目的在探討紐西蘭開放式學前教育機構的課程與教學,以提供國內學前教育機構實施開放教育之參考。 觀察法與訪問法是本研究的主要研究方法,研究者觀察了紐西蘭奧克蘭地區的一所學前教育機構之課程與教學,並訪問了該校的三位專任教師。觀察是經由該校同意之後,連續以攝影機拍攝錄影帶,每週拍攝二天,共計拍攝一個學期中的八週,再就課程規劃與教材、學習空間、教學方法、師生互動、幼兒學習及家長參與等結果做分析討論。本研究對於我國學前教育機構實施開放教育提出四點建議。對於未來的研究也提出三項建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the curriculum and instruction in an open kindergarten in New Zealand. This study utilized observation and interview to obtain information. Three teachers in the open kindergarten were interviewed. The researcher employed videotaping for eight weeks to collect the observation data. Curriculum planning and instructional material, learning environment, teaching methods, student-teacher interaction, children's learning as well as parents' involvement were analyzed as the findings. Some suggestions in implementing the open classroom for Taiwan have been provided. Three ideas for future study have been provided as well.
