本研究採現象學研究法,深入探討癌症病患參與支持團體的經驗,研究者於台北縣某癌症病友協會,以志工角色融入團體並與病友建立信任性關係,在徵求個案同意後根據訪談大網進行深度訪談與錄音,共訪談10位個案,錄音資料轉錄成文本後,依據Giorgi現象學研究法進行資料分析。研究結果歸納出兩個主題;一、提升心靈能量,包括安頓身心尋找希望、獲得愛與支持、釋放負面情緒、學習正向心理調適、啟動心靈療癒能量。二、增廣資源網絡,包括參與團體成長課程、訊息交流與經歷分享、傳愛助人守護同修。本研究呈現癌症病患參與支持團體的真實經驗,有助於醫護人員對癌症病患參與支持團體的實質內涵有更深的了解,而能增加與病人分享及討論參與支持團體的經驗。
The purpose of the phenomenological study was to explore the experiences of cancer patients who participated in a supportive group. As a volunteer of one of the supportive groups in Taipei County, the researcher created mutual trust relationship with potential participants. In-depth semi-structured interview was conducted after consents were obtained from 10 participants. The contents of the interview were audio-taped and then transcribed verbatim. Data were analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological method. Two themes were extracted, including: (1) enhancing the power of spirituality that included both seeking hope and resting both body and mind, having love and support, ventilating negative emotion, learning psychological adjusting positively, and acting the energies of psycho-spiritual healing. (2) increasing information network that included participating in various developmental groups, exchanging information and sharing experiences, loving, helping, and protecting peers. The findings of the study helped health care providers understand such experiences in depth and shared them with other cancer patients.
