《宋史‧道學傳》人物從祀孔廟之探析

On Book of Song Daoxue character ' s elevation to the confucian temple

摘要


《宋史》別立〈道學傳〉,說明士人不必追求仕祿,或是著力文學經術,自有承繼道統的不朽價值,其中人物從祀孔廟者約佔百分之九,或許因道學家們能為厲世摩鈍之用,更具慨然承擔的氣魄。因此,透過官方力量操作,得以從祀孔廟,此一殊榮也代表後世學者及統治者在儀式及制度上對他們延續道統貢獻之承認。以從祀時代觀之,主要集中在學統四起的宋代與雖是外來政權,但卻崇尚文治的清代,朝廷宣揚孔廟禮儀,使政治與學術力量得以匯合,也可看出從祀雖有崇德報功的原則,但在不同時代仍有其偏重;另以從祀人物來看,北宋五子及朱子的地位確實高於其他道學家,從祀制也使聖學系譜得以建構。
