摘要

本文試圖自覺地瞭解與說明我的心理治療工作的理想與實踐為何？其實這與我的自我統整與明白我自己是不可分離的努力。這基本上是我自己與我所處的社會、時代與歷史之間的糾纏。這個拉扯，到近十年才比較漸趨穩定；在我的治療專業上，也反映出了這種穩定。我在文中，先簡述了我、故事與時代之間的合與離。再以一般介紹心理治療理論的架構來說明我的相信與實踐體驗。先是人格理論，分人性觀、動機、發展與健康等；然後是治療的理論，分目標、關係、方法、過程與其他應用。在這治療部份說明著故事(narrative)與主體性(subjectivity)、互為主體性(inter-subjectivity)及感通也就是同理心(empathy)的開展間的關係與進行方式。最後附錄了一個當初在不經意下使用這種方法的成果為例子。我相信，故事是開顯主體性的道路；不只是開顯主體性人格的治療方法，也是開顯主體性知識的研究方法。

This is an attempt to reflect upon my own practicing experiences and to be aware of the theory behind my therapeutic actions. It starts with a brief history of the story and me. The second part is about the personality theory that I believe. It deals with the view of human nature, motivation, personality development, and mental health. The third part is about the therapeutic theory. It deals with the therapeutic purpose, therapeutic relationship, methodology of therapy, therapeutic processes and the other applications. Finally, a case example is given. I believe that story (narrative) is the way of disclosing subjectivity. It is not only the therapeutic method of disclosing the subjectivity of personality, but also the ”re-search” method of disclosing the knowledge of subjectivity.
