青少年知覺父母教養行為、服從義務性與服從管教之關聯探討

An Investigation of the Relationships among Adolescent Perceptions of Parenting Practices, Obligation to Obey, and Obedience in Guan-Chiao

摘要


本研究目的是探究在不同領域中,青少年知覺父母教養行為、服從義務性與服從管教的關聯。研究對象為台北市和新北市就讀7至9年級學生,共計802人。研究工具包括「父母教養行為量表」、「服從義務性量表」與「服從管教量表」。主要研究結果顯示,針對「品德領域」的服從管教,青少年知覺「引導教養」沒有顯著的直接效果。而青少年「監督」和「一致性」教養行為具有顯著直接效果,同時,青少年知覺「溫情」、「監督」、「一致性」教養行為會促進「品德」和/或「休閒」領域的服從義務性,進而增加他們的實際服從管教;相對的,青少年知覺「嚴厲教養」會降低「品德」和/或「休閒」領域的服從義務性,進而減少他們的實際服從管教。至於「生活」、「學習」、「朋友」、「休閒」領域的服從管教,「監督教養」具有顯著的直接和中介效果;「一致性教養」只具有顯著的直接效果;而「引導」和「嚴厲」教養則無顯著效果。至於「溫情教養」,對於「生活」和「朋友」領域具有顯著的直接和中介效果,對於「學習」和「休閒」領域只有顯著的中介效果。綜合本研究結果,青少年知覺父母教養行為的確會直接或經由服從義務性而作用在青少年服從管教,尤其是「監督」、「在特定領域之間的關聯。本研究或許可以增進我們瞭解在社會化過程中,有關不同領域之服從義務性和服從管教的關係,以及青少年知覺父母教養行為所扮演的角色和作用。

The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationships among adolescent perceptions of parenting practices, obligation to obey and obedience in Guan-Chiao for various domains. The participants were 802 seventh to ninth students in Taipei City and New Taipei City. The measures used were the 〞Parenting Practice Scale,〞 〞Obligation to Obey Scale,〞 and 〞Obedience of Guan-Chiao Scale.〞 The results showed that adolescent perceptions of 〞induction〞 parenting practices had no significant direct effect on the 〞moral character domain〞 of obedience in Guan-Chiao. However, adolescent perceptions of 〞monitoring〞 and 〞consistency〞 parenting practices had significant direct or mediated effects on increased obedience of Guan-Chiao. Also, 〞harsh〞 parenting practice showed a significant mediated effect on decreased obedience in Guan-Chiao. Regarding the 〞living domain,〞 〞learning domain,〞 〞friendship domain,〞 and 〞leisure domain〞 of obedience in Guan-Chiao, adolescent perceptions of 〞monitoring〞 parenting practices had significant direct or mediated effects on increased obedience in Guan-Chiao, 〞consistency〞 parenting practices had significant direct effect on increased obedience in Guan-Chiao, yet 〞induction〞 and 〞harsh〞 had no significant effects. In addition, 〞warmth〞 parenting practice had significant direct or mediated effects to increase 〞living domain〞 and 〞friendship domain〞 of obedience in Guan-Chiao, but only had significant mediated effects on 〞learning domain〞 and 〞leisure domain〞 of obedience in Guan-Chiao. Implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.
