護生於兒童事故傷害急救教育課程介入之專業知能成效探討

Pediatric First-Aid Education Program Effectiveness on Professional Competency of Nursing Students

摘要


本研究目的在瞭解護生於急救教育介入前後對兒童事故傷害急救的專業知識、態度與技術情形及其效果,並探討其相關因素。採用類實驗性研究中的單組前後測設計,所有資料乃以結構式問卷調查法取得,在接受課程前後一個月填寫問卷資料,並進行每週2小時且爲期六週的課程。以方便取樣選擇北部某專校護理科五專部四年級121位學生爲研究對象。結果顯示:(1)前測兒童事故傷害急救知識的平均得分並無偏低,後測的大多數題目答對率高達九成,且前後測有顯著差異(t值=-1306,p值=.000)。(2)在有關兒童事故傷害急救的態度方面,前後測每題平均得分皆在3分以上,可見學生在接受課程前後態度都偏積極正向,且前後測有顯著差異(t值=3.11,p值=.002)。(3)前測兒童事故傷害急救技術的心肺復甦術僅兩題答對率較低些,而呼吸道異物哽塞處理法和人工呼吸法則普遍無法正確回答,後測的三個分類大多數題目答對率高達九成,且前後測有顯著差異(t值=-12.43,p值=.000)。(4)兒童事故傷害急救知識與態度呈現正相關(r值=24,p值=.007)藉此研究發現學生對兒童事故傷害急救知能欠缺之處,可提供往後相關科目授課教師在課程開始時,依學生實際狀況設定適當的教學目標,並做好授課計畫,以符合學生的學習需求。未來研究可運用不同教學方法,來明確得知學生在急救當下的應變能力及技術操作情形,藉此機會矯正錯誤觀念。

This study explored how first-aid educational intervention of children affects the professional knowledge, attitudes and practices of college nursing students. A one-group pretest-posttest design was implemented in the study and all of the data was obtained by a structured survey, filling out the questionnaire before and after taking the course, which took six weeks. One hundred and twenty-one fourth-year nursing students from a college in Taipei city and selected by convenience sampling. The experimental results were categorized into four sections. (1) The average score of the knowledge of children injuries first aid is not really low in the pretest compared to previous studies. However, the correction rates of the most questions in the posttest reach 90%. There is a significant difference between the pretest and the posttest (t value=-13.06, p value=.000). (2) Regarding attitudes towards first aid for children, the average score for each question was above three in both the pretest and the posttest, which showed that student attitudes towards first aid for children tended to be positive. A significant difference between pretest and posttest scores was noted (t value=3.11, p value=.002). (3) In the pretest, only two questions about the classification of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation had lower correction rates. As to questions about treatment for foreign matter stuck in the respiratory passages and the artificial respiration, students were not able to answer them correctly in general. In the posttest, the correction rates for most questions about these three categories reached 90%. Moreover, the pretest and the posttest scores significantly differed (t value=-12.43, p value=.000). (4) There was a positive relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of children injuries first aid were positively related (r value=.24, p value=.007). The results provide teachers with directions in setting up the objective of teaching and moreover, enhance the first aid skills of senior student.
