Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19) has spread globally in 2020 and caused a serious pandemic. This report aims to share physical therapists' clinical experiences at a medical center on the coordination of epidemic prevention and control policy during the COVID-19 pandemic. To safely and confidently continue the routine practices, corresponding rigorous infection prevention and control measures must be implemented, including the cleaning and disinfection of the equipment and the environment, and isolation and triage of healthcare personnel. In addition, teaching hospitals have the responsibility of training the interns. In consideration of students' learning rights and environmental safety, interns should receive training on how to face major infectious epidemics while fulfilling the responsibilities and obligations of physical therapists during epidemic outbreaks. Training should also include discussions of the challenges of clinical work and of corresponding appropriate measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
