摘要

背景與目的：我國近年積極推動長期照顧服務，包括居家式、社區式與住宿式機構服務。在住宿式長期照顧機構服務，機構對住民的生活環境設計影響其住民之照顧與生活品質。本研究目的為探討工作於住宿式長期照顧機構人員對於機構住民的生活環境設計之意見，包括空間安排、設施與設備。方法：本研究為橫斷式探索型研究設計，以立意取樣方式，取得在臺灣北、中、南和東部的13間住宿式長期照顧機構同意參與研究者在其機構辦理之焦點團體，由機構行政主管及其服務專業人員數名參與每場次約90分鐘之訪談。結果：總計完成11場次，計有31人參與的焦點團體訪談。依據不同生活環境空間與設施設備分析七部分之意見，包含室外通路、室內出入口、室內通路走廊、寢室、樓梯、昇降設備及無障礙盥洗室。結論：本研究彙整分析實際工作於住宿式長期照顧機構人員之意見，對於規劃與修繕機構的生活環境空間及設施設備等課題提供重要參考資訊。

Background and Purpose: In recent years, Taiwan has actively promoted long-term care services, including home-based, community-based, and residential agency services. The design of the living environment of the residents by the long-term care institutions affects the care and quality of life of the residents. The purpose of this research was to explore the opinions of staff working in residential long-term care institutions on the design of the living environment of the residents of the institution, including space arrangements, facilities, and equipment. Methods: This research was a cross-sectional exploratory research design. Thirteen residential long-term care institutions in northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan were selected by purposive sampling and consented to participate in this study. Ninety-minute focus group interviews with the administrative director and several service professionals were conducted at the institution. Results: A total of 11 focus group interviews were conducted with 31 interviewees. According to different living environments, facilities, and equipment, opinions of institution staff were categorized into seven parts, including outdoor passageways, indoor entrances and exits, indoor passageways (corridors), bedrooms, stairs, lifting equipment, and accessible restrooms. Conclusion: This study summarized and analyzed the opinions of staff working in long-term care institutions, which would serve as critical references for planning and improving the space arrangements, facilities, and equipment of long-term care institutions.
