輕艇選手攝氧峰值和爆發力與500公尺成績之相關性

Correlations among Peak Oxygen Uptake, Explosive Power and Performance of 500 m Kayaking in Canoe Athletes

摘要


目的:針對輕艇運動,分別探討選手上半身、下半身的攝氧峰值和爆發力與實測500公尺成績表現的相關性。方法:研究對象為9位男子青少年輕艇選手,年齡17.3±1.7歲,身高167.7±8.7公分,體重56.9±8.0公斤。測量項目包括在原地跑步機進行攝氧峰值(VO_(2peak))以及輕艇測功儀上進行攝氧峰值的測量、以藥球擲遠方法評估上半身爆發力、以及利用垂直跳高度評估下半身爆發力,測量數據分別與選手在同一水域完成500公尺的時間進行皮爾森相關分析。結果:受測者在輕艇測功儀上所測得之攝氧峰值與500公尺成績顯著相關(r=-.685, p<.05),在跑步機上所測得之攝氧峰值、藥球擲遠距離、垂直跳高度與500公尺成績的相關則未達顯著。此外受測者在輕艇測功儀上運動時所測得的攝氧峰值,較在原地跑步機上所測得的數值低(46.24±5.39 v.s. 56.92±6.62 ml/kg/min)。結論:輕艇選手上半身的有氧能力是影響輕艇500公尺成績重要因子。與國外研究的比較結果則顯示,台灣青少年輕艇選手上半身的有氧能力仍有相當幅度的改善空間,至於上半身的爆發力或是肌肉力量,對於本研究選手的成績影響相對較小。

Purpose: This study was aimed to discern the correlations among peak oxygen uptake (VO(subscript 2peak)), upper and lower body power and performance of 500 m kayaking in canoe athletes. Methods: 9 canoe athletes were invited in this study. Each subject attended the laboratory and completed four measurements, included VO(subscript 2peak) conducted both on kayak ergometer and treadmill, upper body power assessed by 3-kg medicine ball throwing, and lower body power assessed by vertical jump. The data has been analyzed by Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. Results: The VO(subscript 2peak) measured on kayak ergometer was significantly and negatively correlated with the performance time of 500 m kayaking in these paddlers (r=-.685, p<.05). VO(subscript 2peak) measured on treadmill, throwing distance of 3-kg medicine ball, and height of vertical jump were insignificantly correlated with the 500 m performance time. In addition, the value of VO(subscript 2peak) measured on kayak ergometer was higher than on treadmill (56.92±6.62 vs. 46.24±5.39 ml/kg/min). Conclusion: These results indicated that the aerobic endurance of the upper body, other than aerobic endurance of the lower body and explosive power, is critical for the kayakers to achieve better performance. Furthermore, with comparison to foreign studies, it is suggested that the kayak athletes in this study need to raise training load focusing on the endurance power of the upper body.
