校園空間:落實人權教育的思維

Campus Space: Practice of Thought on Human Rights Education

摘要


權力無所不在,空間就是權力,人與人在空間中衍生了許多社會關係。學校是人類成長與學習生活空間,教育應提供一個以人性尊嚴與滿足需求為核心價值的平權空間。學校空間的規劃、決策、使用,將呈現了人權實現的可能。本文首先從人權教育的理念與實踐,來分析人權教育的應有的體認,以及推展人權教育應考量的因素。其次,針對校園空間的權力運作,探究空間與權力的關係,以及校園空間中應有的人權思維。再者,從學校的主體、學校的使用者、性別平等的空間、無障礙的空間以及人性化的空間,進行校園空間與人權實現的省思。最後,提出學校空間規劃時,應注入幾項人權的思維:1.尊重、自由與平權的價值觀;2.學生為主體、需求為前提的學校圖像;3.開放的、人性化、人權化的空間設置。在校園環境與人的互動中,促使空間與人權的結合,使人權於切身的日常生活體驗中落實。

Power is everywhere and space is power. A number of social relations result from space of people. School is the space in which people grow and learn. Education provides a person with a place of equal rights in respect of humanity and satisfaction of needs as core. Planning, decisions, and use of school spaced determines possibilities of human rights realization. This paper first analyzes required understanding of human rights education from ideas and practice of human rights and considered factors in promotion of human rights education. We then explore power operation in campus space and relation between space and power as well as thoughts of human rights in campus space. Reelections are made on campus space and realization of human rights from mass, users of schools, space of gender equality, access free space and human friendly space. Thoughts on human rights in consideration of school space planning are proposed: 1. values of respect, freedom and equal rights, 2. school image of focus on student and requirements first, 3. open, human friendly, human rights space layout. In interaction between campus environment and people, integration between space and human rights is promoted to fulfill human rights in daily life.
