本文以符號互動論的「互動」、「象徵符號」、「角色」三大核心概念為依據,去掌握北海道女性觀光從業人員眼中台灣遊客的身影,並整理出「沉穩柔和的台灣人」、「焦慮不安的台灣人」、「頤指氣使的台灣人」、「積極自主的台灣人」四個面向,包括了正面及反面的雙重評價,同時,各國旅客的氣質、樣貌與輪廓也躍然紙上。研究發現,這些正面及反面的雙重評價之所以出現的原因很多,主要和「觀光從業人員過去對於台灣的認知」、「工作中對於各國旅客的印象比較」、「和觀光客相遇的地點場景」、「觀光從業人員對於特定國家旅客的好惡」、「旅途中的突發狀況」等有所關連。
This thesis, based upon the core concepts of symbolic interaction theory, interaction, symbols and roles, focused on women tourism employees in Hokkaido, Japan, and try to grasp their views on Taiwanese travelers they encountered. The thesis concluded that these women considered Taiwanese travelers gentle, arrogant, anxious and active, and these aspects have both positive and negative assessments. Besides, the differences between the temperament, character and gesture of travelers from Taiwan and other countries are revealed in the thesis. In conclusion, the key factors that cause the women tourism employees' double assessments include their past Taiwanese imagination, countries preference, and comparison on travelers from different countries. In additions, the occasions where the encounter taken place, and unexpected incidences during the trips affected the women tourism employees' assessments too.
