"Drifting" filled the lifetime of Chinese and Japanese mixed poet Huang Ying, it also provided a grand historical context for his Japanese writings, produced the "cross-border" poetic method and spirit, and brought cross-cultural, cross-ethnic, cross-linguistic and cross-field interculturality to his writings. This article firstly shows the overall situation of Huang's writings, based on the cross-border characteristics of regional imagery. Secondly, the author sorts out the inspiration process of his creative ideas through a probe into the contexts of literature and history. Third, adopting the case analysis method, analyze the texts and delve into strategies of his cross-border writing. Fourth, is to summarize the time value and significance of his poetic spirit from the perspective of intercultural theory.
