摘要

日本強化西南諸島軍事建設，雖以回應中共海空軍頻繁進出宮古水道為由，實為反制中共軍事威脅之重要部署。日本持續軍事建設，係藉美國與中共相互競爭之影響，希同時掌控機會與挑戰。美國公布「印太戰略」之後，日本擴大自衛隊於西南諸島部署戰力，目的在確保海上交通線安全，同時承擔第一島鏈更多安全責任。日本於西南諸島戰略部署，呼應臺灣地緣戰略之價值，亦提升臺灣與美日在第一島鏈軍事合作之機會。

Japan has responded to the pressure of the PLA navy and air force frequent passing through Miyako waterway by strengthening its military build-up in the southwestern islands. That said, Japan's actions, in essence, is counter China's military threat. Japan's military construction has been evolving in the context of US-China competitions, with the coexistence of challenges and opportunities. Japan uses the opportunity of U.S. strategic shift to ＂Indo-Pacific Strategy＂ to enhance the capability of JSDF in the southwestern islands that ensure the security of the SLOC. In the meantime, Japan is also to share more security responsibility. Japan's military deployment at the southwestern islands does not only meet the purpose of ＂Indo-Pacific Strategy＂ and reflect Taiwan's geographical strategic values but also give Taiwan's government takes this opportunity to enhance her security cooperation with the US and Japan in the first island chain.
