摘要

本研究目的在於了解喪子單親母親對其子做器官捐贈的悲傷調適歷程。研究者以一位因車禍意外喪子而後做器官捐贈的母親為研究對象，經由兩次共四小時的深度訪談，收集研究對象之經驗資料。本研究根據研究對象的深度訪談資料，將器捐喪子母親的悲傷調適歷程分成四個時期：（1）衝擊：面對兒子車禍意外時的沉痛、慌亂；在兒子腦死時的否認、討價還價；做器官捐贈決定的考量因素包括盤旋著還能為兒子作什麼、憶起與子生前對器捐的討論、看護經驗強化器捐的評估、而在決定時有決定前的掙扎與決定後的掙扎；（2）創傷：官司纏訟時的無助感充斥、害怕與不服輸並存、堆疊的憤怒和報復之意萌生；親友質疑時的背負罪惡和面臨批判責難；喪子之慟時蔓延的絕望感、心有愧疚遺憾、心疼兒子死後孤單和創傷壓力症狀；（3）療癒：療癒因子包括情緒抒發、擔任志工、寵物的陪伴、夢境轉念和公開敘說；（4）重構：對器官捐贈的意義建構包括視為一種使命、與受贈者連結、肯定死有重如泰山、協助其他即將破碎的家庭，期待善的循環。最後研究者針對研究結果整理成器官捐贈喪子母親的悲傷療癒歷程圖，加以討論並提出建議。

The purpose of this study was to explore the bereavement adjustment experiences of a mother whose son died of a traffic accident and donated his organs. A phenomenology approach was adopted along with a in-depth qualitative interview with the mother, which included two sections, 4 hours in total. Results indicated four parts of the mother's experiences, including impact stage, trauma stage, recovering stage and reconstructing stage. During the impact and trauma stage, she had experienced fear, denial, psychological struggle since her son encountered accident, brain death and organ donation. While dealing with her grief emotion she had to face and solve the lawsuit, she donated her son's organ and that was questioned by her ex-husband and mother. In the recovering stage, she was cured through crying, being a volunteer and a pet companion in which allowed her to narrate in public and transform. In the reconstructing stage, she reconstructed meaning of organ donation and death, connected with the organ recipient, helped other families waiting for organs and expected a benefit cycle. Finally, this study provided suggestions for practice and future research.
