日本法相宗南北二寺之諍

Controversies between the Northern Temple and the Southern Temple of Japanese Dharmalakṣaṇa School

摘要


本文以良算《唯識論同學鈔》中的總結為依據,探討了法相宗東傳日本後南北二寺的學理論諍,並著重分析其中四個焦點問題,涉及唯識學與因明學兩個方面。本文認為,日本法相宗直接傳承唐代唯識宗的法脈,通過南北二寺的論諍,又形成了其特有的問題意識與致思路向。對相關文本的深入解讀,將有助於拓展漢傳唯識學與因明學的整體學理規模。

Based on the conclusion drawn in Yuishikiron dōgakushō by Ryōsan, this paper explores the academic controversies between the Northern Temple and the Southern Temple of Japanese Dharmalakṣaṇa school and pays close attention to four focal points, of which the controversies lay on Vijñānavādin or Hetuvidya. In author's opinion, the Japanese Dharmalakṣaṇa school, derived straight from the Chinese Vijñānavādin school of Tang Dynasty, has formed its unique question consciousness and stream of thought through these academic controversies. Correspondingly, insights on these pertinent literatures can contribute to the expansion toward width and depth in the theories on Chinese Vijñānavādin and Hetuvidya
