運動與代謝症候群

Exercise and Metabolic Syndrome

摘要


代謝症候群患者容易出現高血糖、高血壓與高血脂現象,目前台灣地區十大死亡病因也與代謝症候群息息相關,可見代謝症候群對人體健康有相當不利的影響。代謝症候群與人體肥胖有關,尤其是腹部肥胖者。有氧耐力運動有利於消耗人體脂肪,減少肥胖現象,避免與代謝症候群相關疾病的侵襲,運動項目以走路、慢跑、騎自行車、游泳、有氧舞蹈、爬山等項目為佳,運動強度以最大心跳率的50%至85%之間為妥,運動持續時間50分鐘以上者為理想,每週運動頻率則在3次以上為優,尤其是養成規律運動習慣最為重要。除了運動之外,應養成良好的攝食習慣,減少精緻食物及高油、高糖、高鹽等食物的攝取,並避免飲酒及抽煙。

The individuals with metabolic syndrome appear to have hyperglycemia, hypertension, and hyperlipemia. Currently the top ten mortalities in Taiwan are highly correlated with metabolic syndrome, which indicate that the metabolic syndrome may negatively influence health. Previous studies showed that the metabolic syndrome may be induced by obesity, especially the abdominal obesity. Endurance exercise has been proved to beneficially reduce adiposity and morbidity of metabolic syndrome. Walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, and aerobic dancing have been regarded as the best types of exercise, which intensity, duration, and frequency are suggested to set at 50-85% HRmax, over 50 minutes, and 3 times weekly, respectively. The lifestyle of regular exercise is emphasized as important as desirable diets, which decrease the ingestion of fine foods, high fat, high sugar, and high salt and avoid alcohol drinks and tobacco smoking for the individuals with metabolic syndrome to keep fit and health.
