體育教學新嘗試-翻轉教學策略在進階棒球打擊教學上可行性之探討

A New Attempt in Physical Education Teaching-Discussion on the Feasibility of Flipped Classroom Teaching Strategy in Advanced Baseball Batting Learning

摘要


本研究試圖將翻轉教學策略運用於進階棒球打擊教學,以營造教學雙向溝通的學習環境,並提高學習者的學習動機與學習成效。在研究步驟上,先以SWOT法分析翻轉教學策略之相關文獻,從而探討其教學困境,嘗試擬定一套可以應用在國小棒球員學習棒球打擊之翻轉教學策略,即由學習者自選教材、自述教學內容、並自析打擊動作比對等之教學策略。在實際的課程設計操作上,則引導學習者能在課堂前能完成自選教材並進行討論,以培養先備知識;課堂中藉由學習者自身進行教學,營造合作學習之環境;課堂後則能為下一次上課做預習,以培養學習者自主學習、真實理解及解決問題等素養。本研究希望透過落實翻轉教學之核心價值,能夠改善目前體育教學上所遇到的困境。

This research attempts to apply Flipped Classroom Strategy to advanced baseball batting learning for the purpose of creating a learning environment for two-way communication and promoting the learners' motivation and outcomes. In terms of the research approach, first, the literature of Flipped Classroom Strategy has been reviewed by SWOT Analysis; then a set of teaching strategies regarding how young baseball players learn batting have been developed as well. As described above, the teaching strategies in a flipped classroom are to allow learners to self-select the teaching materials, self-explain the teaching content, and self-analyze the comparison of their batting movements. For the further practical curriculum design, three steps are advised. They are: to have the learners acquire their prior knowledge by self-selecting the materials and having the discussion 'before class'; to enable the learners to do the teaching by themselves in order to create a cooperative learning environment 'in class'; and to instruct the learners to preview for the next learning unit 'after class', which can fulfill the literacy education of self-directed learning, authentic understanding and problem solving. This research expect that it can not only implement the core value of Flipped Classroom Strategy but deal with the difficulties encountered at present in physical education.
