現代奧運女性運動服裝之演變(1896-1970)

Development of Female Athletes's Sportswear in Modern Olympic Games (1896~1970)

摘要


在運動權力的路上,婦女經過了冗長的奮鬥及努力,直到現代奧運舉辦之初,才踏入奧運的殿堂,女性運動服裝的變革表現出時代的意義及社會價值。本文以歷史研究法與文獻分析法,探討現代奧運自1896-1970年間女性運動選手參與所呈現的運動服裝改變歷程。本研究目的在試圖解析出女性運動服裝演進的政治、經濟以及社會文化面向的意義。在女性運動服裝的政治掌控方面,IOC允許各運動成爲奧運競賽種類,及各運動服裝的改變及規則修訂,皆表示女性在運動場上受操控的程度。在女性運動服裝的經濟指標方面,隨著科技及經濟的進步,女性主義興起,女性爭取更多自由及權利,而運動服裝就代表女性自主的象徵。在女性運動服裝的社會文化方面,由於女性社會地位的不斷提升,也代表女性身體自主的實際歷程。

Female athletes had finally earned the right of participating sport events after a long time of struggles and efforts. Until the 1912 modern Olympics, women were just allowed to compete in the games. Therefore, the evolution of female athletes's sportswear revealed the meanings of the times and social value. Through historical approach and documental analysis, this article figured out female athletes sportswear progress during modern Olympic Games 1896~1970. The purpose of this study focused on the the importances of female athletes sportswear on the political, economic and social culture. The respect that the politics in women's sportswear controls, IOC allows every kind of movement to become the contest of the Olympic Games, the change of the sportswear and the rule are revised, it means that women are controlled on the stadium. In economic indicators of female athletes's sportswear, the sportswear represents the symbol of independency of female athletes. With scientific, economic progress and the rise of feminism, female athletes could strive for more freedom and authority. Under the improvement of female athletes's social status, the social culture of female athletes's sportswear display the process that female athletes posses their body own affair.
