本研究之目的在爬梳臺灣運動領域中,基因科技/基因禁藥既有研究之現況與邊界。研究問題有二:臺灣的運動領域目前對基因科技/基因禁藥的認識為何?又是以什麼架構去進行理解?本研究以「基因禁藥」、「基因選才」、「運動基因」與「基因科技」作為關鍵詞進行繁體中文文獻搜索,並採文本分析方法對研究分布進行探究。本研究結果發現,臺灣運動領域目前對基因科技/基因禁藥的認識,主要聚焦在特定候選基因之機轉與生理作用,較少觸及其他基因科技之技術範疇,既有研究則多出自運動生理學門及特定實驗室,同時缺乏運動人文社會科學研究之參與,以及實驗法以外的研究方法,故不論在題旨、內容與方法上皆呈現較為單一的視域。本研究結論,未來研究者應積極開展有關基因科技/基因禁藥的新研究論題與分析面向,並尋求因應的可能。
The purpose of this study is to determine the current status and boundaries of the existing research on gene technology/gene doping in the sports field of Taiwan. Two research questions are thus proposed: What is the current comprehension of Taiwan's sport field on gene technology/gene doping? What framework is used to develop our understanding? I adopted text analysis as the method in this study to analyze the research published in traditional Chinese and resulting from searches with the keywords "gene doping," "sport talent identification by gene," "sport genes," and "gene technology." The results show that the sports field in Taiwan is mainly focused on the mechanism and physiological effects of specific candidate genes and has not yet started to study other gene technologies. Existing research primarily comes from sport physiology and particular laboratories. Furthermore, I found that few scholars of sports humanities and social sciences are currently participating in this issue, and research methods other than experimental methods are rarely used. Therefore, a relatively single horizon has emerged in terms of topics, content, and methods. The conclusion of this study is that future researchers should actively develop new research topics and analytical aspects of gene technology/gene doping, and seeking possibilities for response is also necessary.
