顯影女性議題的旅行敘事-以電影「享受吧!一個人的旅行」為例分析

Exploring the Travel Narrative of Women's Issues-A Case Study of the Film "Eat, Pray, Love"

摘要


旅行,一種移動出走的物理空間轉移,其目的可以多重,或冒險或宦遊或休閒……,或透過與世界進行對話而重新發現自我、定義自我,甚而進化自我。本文擬以美國作家伊莉莎白.吉兒伯特(Elizabeth Gilbert)2006年出版的旅行回憶錄Eat, Pray, Love所改編之電影「享受吧!一個人的旅行」為對象,從這部影像旅行敘事中,分析其主題元素,看見導演的鏡頭再現旅行文學的直接現場,又將女性議題顯影其中並流暢地串連起三個國度的旅程與所有情節,而映照出其旅行的意義不僅止於女性旅人的自我形構、療癒與轉化,亦是性別平等╱權的自覺與彰顯。

Travel is a physical space transfer of moving away. Its purpose can be multiple, from adventure, eunuch or leisure..., or through dialogue with the world to rediscover, define, and even evolve oneself. This paper intends to explore the film " Eat, Pray, Love " adapted from the same name travel memoir which published by American writer Elizabeth Gilbert in 2006, and narrate travel story to this video. In the current study, the author analyzes it's thematic elements, review the director's lens reproduce the direct scene of travel literature, and visualizes the feminine insights. Through the smoothly linked the journeys from all the plots of the three countries to reflect the meaning of its travel for female traveler not only the self-construction, healing and transformation of travel journey, but also the consciousness and manifestation of gender equality/right.
