近視學童角膜塑型治療之照護

Care with Wearing Orthokeratology in Myopic School-Age Children

摘要


視力惡化是台灣教育與健康照護體系關注議題,尤其高度近視導致視力障礙問題,令人憂心,有效治療控制近視進展是防堵高度近視的重要目標之一。角膜塑型治療(orthokeratology, Ortho-K)具有實證依據可有效控制近視,其角膜塑型照護行為影響近視控制成效。本文整理文獻關於角膜塑型之近視控制與角膜塑型照護行為與影響因素,提出角膜塑型照護實務建議,做為眼科照護與學校衛生護理實務之參考。

Worsening vision has become one of the most issue of concern for Taiwanese education and healthcare system. High myopia causes visual impairment, which is worrying. Therefore, it is very important goal to slow or even control the progression of myopia in children. Increasing evidence suggests that orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is one of the most effective approaches for slowing the progression of myopia and care behavior affects the effectiveness of myopia control in children's eyes. The objective of the present article was to review the mechanics and clinical applications, care behavior and the suggestion of care practice with wearing orthokeratology for myopic school-age children. It provides practical references for ophthalmic care and school health care.
