員工休閒活動與健康促進生活型態對醫院績效之影響

The Impact of Employees' Leisure Activities Participation and Health Promoting Life Style on Hospital's Performance

摘要


健康促進已是世界各國衛生政策的重點項目,每個國家都期望透過健康促進的落實來達成全民均健之目標。醫院是推廣健康促進的原動力單位。然而醫院員工是否能身體力行健康的生活型態,以成為社區民眾之角色模範,這方面研究卻不多見,故引發本研究動機。本研究乃是以調查高雄市三所市立醫院員工為研究對象,目的首先為了解高雄市立醫院員工參與休閒活動及實踐健康促進生活型態情況;其次為探究員工參與休閒活動及健康促進生活型態與醫院績效的相關程度;再其次分析員工參與休閒活動及施行健康促進生活型態對醫院績效影響程度。本研究使用之工具為結構式問卷,分析方法為次數分配、描述性統計、獨立樣本T-檢定、單因子變數分析、Pearson相關分析及迴歸分析等。研究結果發現:1.55.31%市立醫院員工參與休閑活動,有55.64%力行健康促進生活型態。2.員工參與休閒活動及實踐健康促進生活型態和醫院績效呈現顯著正相關。3.健康促進生活型態中有三構面,包含自我實現、工作保護、壓力處理等顯著影響醫院績效;然而員工參與休閒活動與否對醫院績效則無顯著預測能力。根據研究結果,提出三點建議供醫院參考:1.醫院應當隨時鼓勵員工自我實現,唯有對自己有信心、有尊榮成的員工,對組織的認同聲色才會高,工作績效才會好,如此良性循環,促成病人、員工及醫院三贏的局面。2.應隨時叮嚀員工自我工作保護,或定期舉辦教育訓練,議員工不但了解工作保護之重要,更身體力行職場保護措施,使得職場安全滴水不漏。3.醫院應當隨時注意員工的壓力容忍度,適時舒緩員工壓力:例如舉辦旅遊、健身房、咖啡廳設置-等。

This study aims to verify the impacts of employees' leisure activities participation and health promoting life style on hospital performance. In this study, questionnaire is used to survey the employees of three Kaohsiung Municipal Hospitals. Correlation analysis and multiple regression are utilized to examine the factors influencing the employees' leisure activities participation, health promoting life style and hospital performance. The objective is to gain insights into ways in which the managers of hospitals might use the findings to enhance the hospital performance levels.Findings indicated that:1. There are 55.31% employees who have regular leisure activities, and 55.64% of employees to adopt the life style of health promotion.2. The employees' leisure activities participation and health promoting life style adoption have significant correlations on hospital performance.3. Self-actualization, job protection, stress management are three predictors of hospital performance underlining patient outcomes, financial outcomes, employee outcomes and hospital effectiveness. However, employees' leisure activities participation has no significant impact on hospital performance. This will be useful to provide managers of hospitals with information to assist them to encourage their employees to emphasize the three elements that have a significant impact on hospital performance.
