The experience of visual pleasures as such departs from the sublime aspiration held by the modern art. The aesthetic of art is no longer praised through pain or stagnation. On the contrary, the works of postmodern art are rich with worldly pleasures and laughter. They are presented with a common touch and are expressed in ways that are direct, clear and simple. This popular and easy-to understand style in creation has released art from the control of the elite and sent it towards an open field where people of all classes can participate and enjoy.
