Constructing Performance Indicators for the Total Quality Teaching Method Using the Fuzzy Delphi Method

Purpose: In this study, a set of performance indicators for the total quality teaching method was constructed. Methodology: Literature analysis and the fuzzy Delphi method were employed as the methodology. Findings: First, the performance indicators for the total quality teaching method can be divided into three dimensions: curriculum, instruction, and student performance assessment. Second, these three dimensions comprise a total of ten criteria. Finally, the ability to emphasize the integral role of the teacher in instructional scaffolding ranked the highest among the ten criteria. Practical implications: To actually assist students in achieving the core goal of insight learning. Originality/value: It is critical to develop indicators that can verify the effectiveness of these sessions.
