本文旨在探討越南三朝廟號「聖宗」君王的文治與武功的事蹟,企圖從領導理論中的變革型領導(transformational leadership)面向研究三朝君王的領導行為,也就是因應治國、平天下等煩雜如麻的國事時,君主如何從事「適應性工作」。換言之,即王的領導轉換為霸的領導。本文的問題意識來自於《中學越史撮要》一書所言「君於大越而廟號為聖三,李聖宗文治興而武烈未顯,陳聖宗武功盛而文致未優,文武才畧雄視百代無如黎聖宗」。文章更進一步從行為理論與權變理論分析三位「聖宗」其治國、平天下的事跡,其目的係彰顯李聖宗、陳聖宗與黎聖宗三者之間的領導風格,以及突顯越南在「中華世界」中與中國的關係連結。
Recently there have been increasing studies in Leadership theory. Transformational leadership has been particularly influential in contributing insights into political and military achievements. This paper provides extensive discussions of the applications of three dynastic title 'Sheng-Zong' leadership behavior in Vietnam history. In other words, it explores three dynastic title 'Sheng-Zong' with its political and military achievements. This study will address the following issue: the political and military achievements of three dynastic title 'Sheng-Zong'. The paper also connects three monarchs with behavior theory. More specifically, it studies three dynastic title 'Sheng-Zong' leadership style. Empirical evidence is provided to support the author's argument. The purpose of the research is to examine the relationship between China and Vietnam.
