Along with the prosperity of F&B industries in Taiwan, Taiwanese F&B education is growing popular as well. Also, the promotion of fashion and celebrities has up-scaled F&B to the decent profession and life style in recent years. This trend has drawn the much attention of teenagers. Thus the enrollment of the F&B Department has been increasing although the most of general Departments suffering the decline due to decreasing birth rate. However, the problem has been seen with the evidence pointing to the averaged drop-out rate of F&B majors is higher than that of general majors. How to keep the students to complete the study thus becomes the urgent issue for the schools with F&B Department. Particularly, the school year 2015-2016 is started to confront the new generation born in 2000, so called generation 2K. This research therefore aimed at finding out their enrollment motivation, using the on-line survey. The data of 492 questionnaires was analyzed using SPSS 21, showing the multi-motives inherent in these 2Ks'. The implications and suggestions have been made. Hopefully, the result can be reference for the schools to make useful strategies.
