本研究的目的為探討業餘舞者進行不同種類拉丁舞運動時,消耗能量及運動強度的差異。本研究徵求20位受測者(男女各10位),三分鐘慢跑暖身後,以隨機順序進行恰恰、倫巴、捷舞三種拉丁舞運動各三分鐘。使用身體活動量測量計(ActiTrainer)記錄活動量、心跳、三軸加速度、消耗卡路里。後續的資料統計及分析,則使用重複計量之變異數分析(repeated-measure ANOVA)進行分析。結果顯示,業餘舞者在進行不同種類拉丁舞運動時的能量消耗於性別間並無顯著差異,但在不同舞種之間卻有顯著的不同,但均小於慢跑。
The purpose of this study was to compare the energy consumption and intensity among different kinds of Latin dance in amateur dancers. This study recruited twenty collegiate amateur dancers (10 male, 10 female). The participants were asked to jog firstly for warm-up, and then dance cha-cha, rumba, and jive, each for 3 minutes, in a random order. We used ActiTrainer^(TM) activity monitor to record the activity count, heart rate, three-directional acceleration, and calories during dancing. Repeated-measure ANOVA was used to compare the energy consumption and exercise intensity among different kinds of Latin dance for amateur dancers. This study proved that when amateur dancers performed the ballroom dance, the energy consumption and exercise intensity would be significant different among different kinds of Latin dance, but was significantly lower than jogging.
