Review of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty
摘要
After the design of Grammont's prosthesis, the reverse total shoulder prosthesis became a successful salvage implant for cuff tear arthropathy. The key characteristic of this prosthesis is medialized and distalized center of rotation of shoulder. Later on, its indication expands to other conditions that were difficult to treat during the past. The short and mid-term result of this prosthesis is promising. However, it has a higher complication rate than the conventional shoulder prosthesis.
