Bilateral anterior shoulder dislocations with myositis ossificans-A case report

摘要

Bilateral anterior shoulder dislocation is a relatively rare condition seen in clinical circumstances. In our patient, deltoid myositis ossificans developed to bilateral anterior shoulder dislocation, which made her condition even more unique and tricky. According to the patient's statement, myositis ossificans may be related to her lengthy past history of intramuscular cocaine-injection in her bilateral deltoid area during her younger years. Radiographic images, including X-rays and computed tomography, fully presented the features of bone and joint abnormalities associated with myositis ossificans. We will discuss our case in detail in the following pages, with this case report providing the uncommon discovery of the condition of myositis ossificans combined with bilateral anterior shoulder dislocation.
