What Defines My Future? The Factors Which Influence a Career of Student Athletes

摘要


學生運動員如果沒有一個良好的工作、職業、收入,及社會地位等生涯規劃與準備,究竟是歸因於他們沒有「能力」、「努力」或「天賦」去奮發向上?還是沒有一個均等機會去爭取資源?因而,本研究探討學生運動員教育資源、成就抱負對生涯發展的影響,以瞭解社會因素對學生運動員的影響,以提供運動員生涯發展的參酌。針對高中及大學階段學生運動員採用問卷調查,回收有效樣本1,590份,並透過描述統計、多元迴歸分析進行資料處理。結果發現,教育抱負、教育資源對生涯發展有顯著影響。此一結果也進一步說明學生運動員的生涯發展優劣,不單只是受到學生運動員本身的努力而定,而是會受到他們所擁有的教育資源多寡影響,他們擁有較佳的教育抱負、教育資源的支持,則他們的生涯發展就愈佳。

If not having good jobs, positions, income, social status, and so on as well as preparation of career, will student athletes not work hard on their duty because of no abilities, efforts or talents? Or will they not fight for resources owing to no equal opportunities? Thus, this study mainly discusses the influence of student athletes' educational resources, sense of achievement toward their career development so as to provide the relevant organizations with examination of student athletes' career development. Researchers will adopt the method-questionnaire, to collect 1,590 effective questionnaires from student athletes of senior high school and college students. Also, this project is processed via descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The result demonstrates that educational aspiration and educational resource have significant effects on this program. The outcome suggests further that student athletes' advantages and disadvantages of their career do not only depend on student athletes' efforts, but they are also influenced by what they have got from education resources instead. The better educational aspiration and support of educational resources they got, the greater career they develop.
