摘要

Frequency has been found to be correlated significantly with many aspects of language use and acquisition, and high-frequency multi-word expressions are referred to as lexical bundles. While there have been many corpus-based studies on the use of lexical bundles in English, few studies have been conducted to identify lexical bundles in Chinese. Therefore, this study sets out to identify lexical bundles in Chinese conversation and news and categorize them according to their structure and function. The results provide cross-linguistic support for important tendencies observed in English data, and distributional differences can be attributed to language-specific properties. Additionally, a comparative analysis of lexical bundles in Chinese conversation and news reveals important communicative needs in different genres. Finally, pedagogical implications are discussed.

使用頻率極高的多字詞串稱為高頻詞串，一般認為頻率與語言使用、習得的許多面向高度相關。雖然已有很多語料庫研究關注英文裡的高頻詞串，但抽取中文高頻詞串的研究仍然不多。因此，本研究試圖抽取中文對話與新聞的高頻詞串，並根據其結構與功能加以分類。研究結果發現：中文高頻詞串可為在英文中所觀察到的現象提供跨語言的支持，而分布上的差異則可歸因於語言的特性。此外，針對中文對話與新聞的詞串所進行的比較分析，則凸顯了不同文類中重要的溝通功能。最後，本文亦探討教學上的應用。
