The Future of Leisure, Sport and Infrastructure

Leisure, sport and infrastructure, have become an important economic sector that generates hundreds of billions of euros turnover and has millions of employees, worldwide. The sector is important part of World globalization. Environmental, economic and social changes, which already happened, will have big impact on (1) creation of new philosophy of leisure, sport and infrastructure, (2) adoption of standards and regulations of leisure, sport and infrastructure, (3) introduction of new systems of social management and funding schemes, (4) designing of new educational and professional training programs, (5) development of new innovative programs and services, (6) reconstructions and renewals of existing facilities and (7) development of new technologies. Sport and leisure infrastructure will become increasingly multifunctional.
