場域實踐學習的課程設計-以建築設計課程為例

A Research on the Field-practice Learning Course Design for Architecture Design Studio

摘要


建築設計課程有別於其他類型的課程設計,除了強調設計創作能力的培養以外,也注重實務導向的訓練。本研究嵌入「場域實踐」的概念於建築設計課程,以實際的場域呈現空間改造需求,並以類事務所專案的方式引導學生進入場域,讓學生學習面對真實場域的挑戰與困難時所需的問題解決能力。課程結合問題導向學習的教學架構,以三個不同類型的真實場域進行分組,課程規劃著重學生的專業學習實踐力,在課程發展中強調從進入場域、問題定義、務實提案到實踐執行的完整訓練;課程內涵強調學生面對問題的應變能力;學習成效是以培養學生的社會參與力及團隊合作為目標。最後,從學生的學習歷程、作品集、心得報告、及回饋問卷等資料分析檢視課程成效,並提出未來課程優化的建議。研究發現,由課程帶領學生進入實際場域學習,可提昇學生實務操作與回應場域需求的能力。

Architecture design course is different than other forms of course design, apart from emphasizing on the training of design creative ability, practice-based training is also fundamental. This research incorporates the concept of "field-practice learning" into the architectural design studio course, provides actual field with space design requirements, applying coop-studio method to direct students into the field and learn to solve problems when facing challenges and difficulties the filed. The course design integrates the problem-based learning framework, provides three different types of field contexts for team up and comparison. The course planning emphasizes on student's professional practice ability, the course development focuses on the overall training from field entering, problem defining, practical proposal suggesting, to the practical implementation process; course content enhances on the student's problem facing and adjusting ability; learning performance targeting on educating student's social participatory and team cooperation abilities. Finally, the course learning performance is evaluated based on student's learning progress, portfolio presentation, course afterthought, and feedback questionnaire, which provides suggestions for future course design improvement. Research result shows that with course leading students into the field context and complete design practice, students learned practical implementation method and were able to feedback on the needs of the field context, as well as increasing their recognition towards social concerns and local participation.
