關於「莊子美學」研究進路之省思-以李澤厚、徐復觀的研究為線索

Reflections on the Research Approach of "Zhuangzi's Aesthetics"-Taking Li Zehou and Xu Fuguan's Research as Clues

摘要


「莊子有美學嗎?」若「莊子有美學」應該如何研究才是適切的?諸如此類的問題,一直在學術界爭論不休。本文希望能對此提供「初步的」釐清。由於「莊子美學的研究」是近現代才有的議題,因此本文的省思,將從「近現代學者研究進路的檢討」切入。本文挑選的是,其中具代表性的兩位學者:李澤厚(1930-)與徐復觀(1904-1982)。在檢討兩位學者的研究進路,並以《莊子》一書作為適切與否的判準之後,本文獲致關於「如何才是『莊子美學』適切的研究進路?」兩點結論:第一,要研究的是莊子道的境界所開顯的特殊審美意象,不是以「美學」概念去把握莊子。第二,研究者的前理解(pre-understanding)要與《莊子》一書不斷往來,向著新的意義內容開放。

"Does Zhuangzi have aesthetics?" If "Zhuangzi has aesthetics", how to study is appropriate? Issues such as this have been debated in academia. This article hopes to provide a "preliminary" clarification. Since the "research on Zhuangzi's aesthetics" is a topic unique to modern times, this article's reflection will begin with "reviewing the research approach of modern scholars". This article selected two representative scholars: Li Zehou(1930-)and Xu Fuguan(1904-1982). After reviewing the research approach of the two scholars and using the book "Zhuangzi" as the criterion for appropriateness, the article draws two conclusions about "How is the appropriate research approach for Zhuangzi's aesthetics?" What is to be studied is the special aesthetic image revealed by the realm of Zhuangzi Tao, not to grasp Zhuangzi with the concept of "aesthetics". Second, the researcher's pre-understanding must constantly communicate with the book "Zhuangzi" and be open to new meanings.
