摘要


近年來由於醫學科技的發達,生活品質的提升,人們的壽命普遍延長,也造成老年人口增加,人口結構趨向高齡化社會。但「老化」所帶來的問題也接踵而至,包括罹患慢性病的機會增多,不但影響到生活與健康,同時對社會醫療成本也增加龐大的負擔。因此,唯有透過良好的運動習慣及生活型態才能減緩高齡化社會所帶來之衝擊。但由於生理條件不同於青年、中年等時期,美國運動醫學會(ACSM,1998)在老年人的運動處方中,建議從事的運動形式為大肌肉、韻律性及有氧性的運動,如走路、快步走、慢跑、騎腳踏車、游泳和水中運動等。因此老年人的運動處方宜採用對關節肌肉撞擊較低、強度較低且時間稍長的有氧性運動。而氣功為我國固有的養生運動,歷史久遠,有花費少、不受場地及人數限制、運動傷害風險低等優點。因此,本研究旨在探討:一、何謂氣功?包括氣功之起源,氣功的含意及氣功之種類。二、探討氣功此一運動對於老年人身心之影響。藉由相關文獻之蒐集進行分析研究。

Since the medical technology developed and the quality of life improvement, life expectancy is generally longer in recent years. It also causes the increasing of elderly population, and tending to aging society. There are problems arising followed the aging, including increased opportunities for chronic disease. It is not only affects the usual living and health of elderly, also increasing cost in medical will be a huge social burden. Therefore, the ways to reduce the impact of aging society is to train a good habit both in exercise and lifestyle. However, due to the different physiological conditions of age, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM, 1998) publish an exercise prescription for the elderly, it recommended the elderly can do the form of using gross motor, rhythm and aerobic exercise, such as walking, fast walking, jogging, cycling, swimming and water sports. To sum up, exercise prescription for older people should adopt the exercise with lower impact on the joint and muscle strength, and take slightly longer aerobic exercise. Qigong is the inherent regimen exercise of Taiwan, its advantages are having a long history, inexpensive, unlimited by the numbers and space and lower risk of sports injury. Therefore, the purposes of this thesis are, First, I would like to discuss what Qigong is, including the origin of Qigong, meaning of Qigong and the types of Qigong. Second, I am going to study how Qigong affect on the mentally and physically of the elderly. This thesis will research by analyzing and collecting the related references.
