臺灣國民小學網球運動發展初探(1945-2000年)

A Preliminary Study of Tennis Education in Elementary Schools in Taiwan (1945-2000)

摘要


近年來,台灣網球選手在國際上表現優異,透過傳播媒體,國人更加重視網球運動,而發展國民體育,根本之道在於奠定良好學校體育,其中屬於國民義務教育的小學體育最為重要。所以為了解台灣網球運動在學校發展情形,筆者認為須從國民小學談起,而網球運動發展在國民小學發展情形,至今尚未有人作一詳實之論述,此乃筆者研究動機。本研究是以文獻分析法,蒐集相關史料,探討網球運動在國民小學發展情形。研究目的在探討的課程、場地以及網球運動活動實態。由於小學的校數眾多,無法全面性的例舉,是其限制。研究範圍則是從民國34-89年(1945-2000年)為止。本研究結論有四:一、民國82年,在具「務實」精神前提下的課程標準修訂,網球運動首次列入為授課教材之一,此次課程標準公布,象徵了網球運動在學校中往下紮根,向上發展的重要意義,對國內網球運動發展而言是一大助益。二、網球運動在國民小學階段,除了師資、教材、經費、器具不足外,場地因素也影響了網球運動的發展,尤以場地因素佔了最大。只有少部分學校藉著成立體育班或有興趣的老師、教練推展外,無法達到全面性的發展,網球運動在國民小學階段可說是局部性的發展。三、民國59年1月1日公布國民中學體育科暫行設備標準,其中規定,網球場應單獨設立,軟式網球運動用費低廉,國中教學應以軟式網球運動為主,硬式網球運動為副。以當時經濟條件下軟式網球運動風氣遠勝於硬式網球運動,致使學校網球運動發展以軟式為主。四、在光復後至民國七十年代間,因為經濟因素,國民小學推展的網球運動主要為軟式網球運動,又以中南部較為盛行。而到了八十年代後經濟好轉,王思婷、張德培等華裔選手優異的表現,使得國人更注重國民小學網球選手的培育。在硬式網球比賽裡北部地區球隊實力較高,通常獲得較佳名次。而高雄市民族國小是南部地區能和北部國小抗衡主要隊伍之一。

Over the last several years, Taiwan's tennis athletes have had outstanding performances in International Youth Tennis Tournaments. This has attracted much public attention to tennis. The development of national sports relies on excellent school physical education in which elementary physical education is the most important aspect in the national compulsory education system. Therefore, the researcher believes that this study should be conducted in elementary schools in order to understand the development of tennis education in elementary schools in Taiwan. The researcher's motivation to conduct the study is that the development of tennis education in elementary schools has not yet been fully elaborated and discussed. This research was conducted with literature review and analysis in order to explore the development of tennis education in elementary school. The objectives are to discuss the real situation of tennis courses, facilities and tennis courts. Due to the large amount of elementary schools, examples are limited. The research covers the years 1945 to 2000.There are three conclusions of this project:1. The curriculum framework was amended in 1993 in which tennis was included in the curriculum for the first time. This new curriculum emphasized that tennis should be rooted and developed considerably at school.2.Not only do schools lack tennis coaches, teaching materials, budgets, and equipment, but also can facilities hinder the development of tennis education. Only a few schools promote tennis education by establishing physical education classes or recruiting teachers or coaches who are interested in this sport, otherwise most schools have difficulties developing it comprehensively.3.Soft tennis does not require high budget, so most schools rely highly on soft tennis education and take tennis course as supplementary courses. The financial condition contributes to the popularity of soft tennis, and schools put their emphasis on the development of soft tennis.
